I felt such a warm and caring presence from the moment I came in to when I left. My cleaning was a great experience (as it can be), and I thoroughly enjoy Joni who worked with me and consulted with me about my teeth in my first trimester. Joni was also the main plot in the story I shared with my husband, and it was nothing but really nice things. Highly recommend."

Joni the hygienist is phenomenal, she understood the nervousness of being at the dentist and was super patient and didn’t make me feel bad for being nervous. "DO NOTTTTT GET A ROOT CANAL HERE. I had paid $1000 to get a root canal done in February for a severe toothache, thought everything went great. The pain in the same area came back a few months later, but worse, so I decided to go back. I was not even in the office for 30 minutes before the dentist was able to point out a 4th missed nerve from my root canal on the xray taken. Dr Delgato was extremely nice, given the situation and my frustration. She had informed me that I would need a 2nd root canal and that they do not offer the service in the office so I would have to go to a specialist. Once I called the specialist they referred me to, they quoted me $500 just for the consultation and $2400 for the second root canal. I also requested a call from STL Mid County Dental's owner and when Dr Shawn did call, he was extremely condescending and rude about any sort of refund for their mistake and not completing my root canal in February. He also was very persistent about how he "could not see what the dentist was talking about on the xray" when I was sent home with a copy and could point it out myself. The only thing they offered to cover was a tooth extraction, which according to the office was $360 if i were to pay..... a fraction of the $1000 i was already down. I was also informed via phone call from the front desk that they refused to give me a refund because I technically "paid majority for the crown on the tooth and only a small amount went towards the procedure". Mind you - I cant even use the crown because I could not afford any extra treatment so I had to go with the tooth extraction. So the crown was a fat waste of money. Additionally, when i got the root canal done in Feb I had dental insurance at the time specifically for the procedure and now I do not so everything will be double the price. I did come back and do the tooth extraction 2 weeks later, and i thought it would be an easier appointment but it ended up taking 2 hours for them to get my tooth out. When I was finished, the whole left side of my face was numb including my eye, and my vision was blurry for a while. Overall this experience was my worst nightmare, considering I came in with already have dentist trauma. I am extremely disappointed they do not stand behind their work or help more with getting my problem fixed, so now i am down a good tooth at 23 years old."
